What We Do

Foot Care Delivered to You

Inherited Health Medical Center provides mobile foot care for eligible adults who may have chronic health conditions, mobility limitations, or difficulty accessing office-based foot care. We bring skilled, attentive care directly to patients in their homes and care settings.

IHMC's mobile foot care is medically focused — not cosmetic. Our services are designed for patients with clinical needs such as diabetes, circulation concerns, or conditions that make routine foot care difficult or risky without professional oversight.

We coordinate with the patient's existing healthcare team and identify conditions that may require referral to a podiatrist or specialist.

Services May Include

Mobile Foot Care Services

Foot and skin assessments
Medically necessary nail care
Thickened or difficult-to-manage nail care
Callus assessment and care when appropriate
Diabetic foot evaluations
Circulation screening
Sensation screening
Education about daily foot care
Identification of conditions requiring podiatry or specialist care
Coordination with the patient's healthcare team

IHMC's mobile foot care is not cosmetic foot care, salon care, or pedicure services. Services are provided based on clinical appropriateness, provider availability, the mobile service area, insurance requirements, and medical necessity.

Who May Benefit

Patients Who May Benefit from Mobile Foot Care

Mobile foot care may be appropriate for eligible adults who have clinical needs related to foot health and who have difficulty traveling to a traditional medical office. This may include:

  • Adults with diabetes who require regular foot monitoring
  • Patients with peripheral vascular disease or circulation concerns
  • Older adults with thickened, difficult-to-manage nails
  • Patients with mobility limitations or transportation barriers
  • Homebound patients who cannot safely manage their own foot care
  • Residents of assisted living or residential care communities
  • Patients whose primary care provider or specialist has recommended professional foot care

Eligibility for mobile foot care services depends on clinical appropriateness, the patient's location within the mobile service area, insurance coverage or self-pay arrangements, and medical necessity. Contact IHMC to discuss whether mobile foot care may be appropriate for your situation.
