Arranging transportation, taking time off work, transferring a loved one, or worrying that health concerns are being missed — these are real barriers that prevent adults from getting the primary care they need. Mobile primary care is designed to help.
IHMC offers mobile primary care visits for eligible adults who have difficulty coming to the clinic. Mobile visits may help patients and families reduce barriers to care, improve follow-up, and receive care in a familiar setting.
Important
Mobile visits are based on service area, clinical appropriateness, provider availability, and payment or insurance requirements. Not all patients will qualify. Contact IHMC to discuss whether mobile care may be appropriate for your situation.
Mobile Care May Be Appropriate For
- Homebound adults
- Older adults with mobility limitations
- Adults with transportation barriers
- Assisted living residents
- Residential care community residents
- Adults recovering from illness or hospitalization
- Patients with chronic illness affecting mobility
Service Area
Mobile primary care is available in Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, and surrounding areas as approved by the practice. Service area eligibility is confirmed during the intake process.
